We got up very early in the morning and had breakfast in the hostel. We ran out from the hostel to the underground station of Elephant and Castle to Charing Cross to arrived at Trafalgar Square and entered at The National Gallery that is a permanent collection houses Western European paintings, ranging from the 13th to the 20th centuries. There was a plenty of portraits from Boticelli, Michelangelo, Van Gogh, Turner, Sebastiano... Most of these paintings was surprised me because I was thinking how did the painter to painted the most tallest pictures. The paintings was set in different landscapes, houses, buildings or self-portrait from an important figure of these century. There was a plenty of different colours combined with some figures and shapes which gave them a meaning or a representation. As I don't do Art History I couldn't knew the meaning of the most of these paintings and portraits his colours and figures, but I kept seeing us.
At 11:30h we got out from the museum and the teachers told us that we had free time until 16:30h. We decided to went to Oxford Street that is one of London's main shopping streets. It is two miles long and runs from Marble Arch in the west to Tottenham Court Road in the east. The sreet was a full of shops and shopping malls where we entered and we was seeing all the marks and the full of clothes that was inside the shops. Then we looked for a restaurant and sat in a terrace where we lunch a delicious handmade hamburger with chips.
Then we decided to went to visited the Tower Bridge, but we had a confusion with the underground that we had to caught and we appeard the side of another bridge, but as we had done the whole walk we took a photo from the London Bridge that could be seen from far away.
At 16:30h we had to stayed in front of the Natural History Museum and we had to caught the Circle Line of the underground to arrived at Souht Kensigton, but we got in the wrong train and we had to do 20 stops to arrived at the Natural History Museum. When we discovered that we got in the wrong train we were quite nervous and scared because we got three quarter of hour later and didn't know how the teachers would react. When we arrived Isabel was waiting for us and told us that nothing happen an error has it all. We finally could visited the Natural History Museum that is a must in London. Diplodocus skeleton greets you in the main hall. The museum includes the dinosaur gallery, the Darwin Centre, and areas names Volcanoes and Earthquakes, Sensational Butterflies, Wildlife Garden. Also we had to visited the Science Museum has seven floors of interactive and educational exhibits. Highlights include the Energy Hall, the Flight Gallery and there is also a 450-seat Imax cinema, but we didn't had enough time to visited his.
We passed near the Victoria and Albert Museum boats an unparalleled collection of decorative art and design with some 4.5 million objects from Britain and around the world. Then we passed near the Hyde Park that is central's London largest open space that there is boating on the Serpentine, the traditional Speaker's Corner since 1872, Marble Arch, and the Kensigton Palace that became the favourite royal residence under the joint reign of William and Mary. It still have private apartments where various members of the royal family live.
Before went to dinner we passed ahead to Harrods and the teachers gave us some free time to entered in Harrods, that is a shopping mall for rich people. We went and the people was observed us from top to bottom, because we were dressed casual and they were dressed with suits and gowns. We were circling around the mall looking at prices and the decorated.
We left the Harrods and we went to a restaurant at Kensington to dinner and then we went to Piccadilly to had a round to see the streets and shops at night, because many are iluminated with lights with differents colours. And finally we returned to the Hostel by bus.
