DAY 4: FRIDAY 7TH APRIL

That day was the final day and we had to prepared the suitcase to left this in reception at 9:00h. Then we went to the bus station to went to visited  St Paul's Cathedral that was designed by Christopher Wren after the Great Fire and built between 1675 and 1710. It is one of the world's largest church domes around 65,000 tons worth.

Then we went to had breakfast because with the rush to pack the suitcase we hadn't much time. Then we visited the Monument that was designed by Wren to commemorate the Great Fire. It is 60,6m high, the exact distance from it's base to the bakery on Pudding Lane where the blaze begin. We had free time if we wanted to climb up to the viewpoint. I rose 311 steps and finally we observed part of the London city were an incredible views.

Then we had a bus and took us to The Tower of London that is World Heritage Site which possesses a gruesome and compelling history. The most striking building is the central White Tower, with it's Romanesque architecture and hour turrets. Is a huge castle where Lourdes told us that in the past served as a prison to condemned the slaves and intolerant people with the government to death. We passed the Tower of London and we entry to the Tower Bridge that was built when London was still a thriving port in 1894. When we arrived at the end of the bridge we got off in a beutiful and clean park where we had some pictures of the London Bridge that could see perfectly.

Then we had to slipe away from Borough Market because there are a lot of people selling food and others buying the food. Borough Market is similar than Candem Market with his food stalls and we had to bought the lunch to had much time to visited the things that we had to see.

After lunch we went to visited the Shakespeare's Globe that was the most famous theatre, where a genius playwright was offering his such as Macbeth and Hamlet. We did a tour of the theatre and it's areas and we could see the stands and the stage where Shakespeare acted, and then we entered in the exposition of the theatre where we could the see the clothes and some objects that they used at that period to acted. And finally we went to the Tate Modern that is one's of London biggest attractions, this outstanding modern and contemporany art gallery is housed in the creatively revamped Bankside Power Station south of the Millenium Bridge. The Tate Modern houses the Tate's Collection of modern art with work ranging from Andy Warhol to Rachel Whiteread and Henri Matisse to Henry Moore. We went upstairs in the viewpoint to took photographs of the landscape, was very beautiful and striking to observe the views of London, but we stayed sad because was the final day and we had to left London to return to Barcelona, and nobody wanted to return because we had too much homework and exams.

Then we returned to the Hostel by underground, we took the suitcase and at 17.15h we say goodbye to the city of London. We took a bus and we went to the Airport of Gatwick, we had to dinner in the Airport and then at 21.40h we had to boarding to got in the plane by Vueling, I was so tired and I fell asleep during the flight. At 00:50h we arrived at Barcelona and we had to waited to the bus that will brought us to Castelló d'Empúries. We arrived at Castelló at 4:30h and finally we went to my house to rest all days that we had pass in London.

Was an incredible adventure I had a great time with my friends and teachers and I encourage all students to travel to London because it's a unique experience.
