DAY 3. LEÓN

This day we got much earlier than the other days, because we had to leave the hotel and go towards León. We breakfast quickly and rose in the room to did the suitcase and then we get on the bus which took us to the village where it were the natural spot of Las Médulas.

The bus stopped in a farmhouse, there we were a bit in the courtyard, because there were many animals such as turkeys, dogs, cats, chickens, hens, ducks, fishes..., with whom we had a pretty little bit, especially with the turkeys that were most extravagants and we were amused.

Then we went to lunch and after a while we were resting on a terrace next to the farmhouse. Then we went to the meeting point of Las Médulas and the guide explained us what is Las Medulas, how it created and what it was found. On leaving the information point we headed toward the route that had Las Médulas. I put suncream in the face, because the sun was burning me and we started walking. The rute was made of reddish clay falling to the rock that formed the natural spot and was very muddy, so you get the shoes dirty.

The route was quite long, but it was nice to look at the views and cliffs. After the tour we went up a bit of Las Médulas with bus, because it was a long walk to do. We arrived at the cave of the natural spot and we entered. It was a damp, dark and narrow cave where we also found some bats are hidden. When we left the cave we walked to the viewpoint and we could see the entire natural spot.

Upon arriving in León, we acommodated in the new hotel and we decided to have dinner together. In León is traditional to go to bars and eating tapas, and we do this.

After dinner we went to a pub and we stayed there dancing and singing the music played until the time exhausted and we went to the hotel.

THE MY GRANDPARENT'S HOUSE, WHEN I WAS LITTLE

These photos are from May 2000. When my mother worked, she took me at my grandparent's house. She worked every day except Sundays, so the other days I stayed at the house of my grandparents.

I arrived at my grandparent's house at the 9 0'clock at the morning, and I ran to greet my grandparents. When I arrived, I had breakfast with my grandmother, and then used to go bought in the shops of the village of my grandparents, Vilamalla. My grandmother used to go to the butcher and at the mini supermarket. After we returned home with the purchase and I helped my grandmother to put the purchase in her place.

If the weather was good we went out at the courtyard, because it was a very large courtyard and I had a good time. In the courtyard, apart from playing with my toys, also liked was that I had to see the animals: hens, pigs, parkeets and dogs. Also I smelt the flowers that my grandmother planted in the garden, it was a very fond of flowers with differents species and colours. I sat next to the flowers and caressed, but sometimes I torn some. When was the 13 o'clock I had lunch, I liked much what my grandmother cooked.

In the afternoon we used to go at the park behind the my grandparent's house.I met with most kids of my age who were the granchilds of my granmother's friends and played together. When the sky started getting dark we returned at the house of my grandparents, and my father carried me at my house.

Here ended a day at home of my grandparents.

EARTHQUAKES

During the last two months of October and November there have been many earthquakes, that her intensity  are between 1 or 2 in the Richter scale in a few kilometers from the coast of Roses and Sant Pere Pescador, are the populations where it felt the earth tremor.
The earthquake with the higher intensity was happened in the early morning Thursday 29th of October, for set at 01:37am, that registered 4'3 degrees in the Ritcher scale. That early Thursday, there was many calls in 112 and many of people they woke up because of the earthquake tremor,some inhabitants of these villages close to the coast had enough shocks and even this phenomenon  fell some objects like frames and squares hanging on the wall, the cupboards where there were glasses and plates shivered, and many objects moved and embeded into the walls.
Seismographs not rule out that another earthquake happens this intensity because after this earthquake have been picked up many aftershocks.
